Schoolovision wins its 3rd major European Award!
eTwinning celebrated its 5th birthday in style in Seville at the weekend, with around 520 teachers from all over Europe attending the annual conference there.
For Schoolovision 2009, it marked the 3rd chapter in a fantastic run of victories, which started in Rome at the Global Junior Challenge where the project won 1st prize, last October.
Then, the project was entered into the eLearning Awards, held in Vilnius last November, and the project won 1st prize again, this time in the category of "Best Cross Border Collaboration in Europe."
Finally, the project was entered into the eTwinning Awards, and it was a memorable weekend for the 17 partners who made it to Seville, as Schoolovision again emerged victorious, this time in the category of "Most Creative Use of Digital Media."

Some of the Schoolovision teachers, celebrating in Seville after the project was announced as a winner!
Members of the team gather in Seville after a memorable conference.
For me as the creator of the project, it was undoubtably my proudest moment of all, as I was able to meet many of the partners who have worked with me over the past year, and who have made the project so successful.
Watch the team members who were in Seville accepting the prize.
Now, it's time to concentrate on Schoolovision 2010 as we aim to do it all again, with the contest coming to a climax in May, when the new champions will be announced.
Thank you to all 30 partners, for helping make this such a wonderful experience!
